Appointment of New Head

The Trustees of the Richard Pate School are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Sam Morgan, currently Head of the Pre-Preparatory at Clifton College, as Robert MacDonald’s successor from September 2025. Otto, Year 6, to represent Gloucestershire at the National Primary Schools Cross Country Finals

Good luck to Otto in Year 6 who has qualified to represent Gloucestershire in the National Primary Schools Cross Country Finals on Saturday 25th March in Loughborough.  This is a brilliant achievement and marks the end of a great season for Otto and the rest of the RPS cross country team.  Well done to everyone involved and thank you to Mrs Lewis and Mrs Miller-Howell for their coaching and support throughout the season.

RPS U11 Girls’ Hockey in IAPS National Finals

Congratulations to our brilliant U11 Girls’ Hockey team and coaches, Mrs Knight and Mr Foster, for reaching the IAPS National Finals, which took place on Friday.  The team played really well but faced some strong opposition.  It was an amazing standard of hockey and we feel honoured to have been part of of this fantastic tournament – such an amazing experience for our girls.  We are very proud of them all!
