During the course of the school year, children take part in a range of enrichment activities. These may be linked to the whole school curriculum focus, special national events or a year group focus. Recent events include a History Day to celebrate the school’s 75th anniversary, balance bike workshops, skipping workshops and school trips to the pantomime.
We also arrange guest speakers to come into school to talk on a range of different topics or engage the children in a variety of ways, for example representatives from charities, the Fire Service, sportsmen and women, the local MP and representatives from the local church.
