Head of Communications and Marketing (Part-time)

 

The Richard Pate School is owned and operated by Pate’s Grammar School Foundation. It is a successful independent day school for 3-11 year olds set in 11 acres of land on the edge of Cheltenham.

The School is looking for an experienced professional to support the Headmaster in developing and implementing a communication and marketing strategy to reflect the ethos, aims and successes of our exceptional School. This is an exciting new role so there is scope for the successful candidate to provide meaningful input into the design and priorities of the role.

The role is part-time, 3 days a week during term time, plus the equivalent of 5 weeks spread over the School holidays.

 

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Be experienced in the principles and practices of marketing, communications and PR in the education sector.
  • Ideally hold a recognised professional qualification.
  • Have strong ICT and social media skills.
  • Be a proactive and positive individual with a high level of professional integrity and attention to detail.
  • Be an excellent communicator who enjoys collaborative working.
  • Be respectful of the School’s aims and values.
