Nursery
From 3 years (i.e. rising 4)
Qualified nursery staff aim to provide a stimulating, warm and caring environment in which children, through play, can explore and develop.
With adult support, children follow a planned and varied Foundation Stage
curriculum, where we encourage children to grow in confidence and independence,
ensuring a happy and smooth transition into the Preparatory Department. The
staff operate an ‘open door’ policy and work closely with parents
throughout the year, informing them of their children’s progress. The
nursery boasts excellent resources and facilities, on which we have been commended
in recent inspections. The nursery is inspected biennially by Ofsted in order
that parents may receive the government grant.
