Consultation with Class Teachers
The parents of children in the Years 3, 4 and 5 are invited to meet their child’s class teacher on Thursday, 13th March between 4.00 and 8.00 p.m.
Whilst we understand this date coincides with Cheltenham Gold Cup Day, we are unable to find another available date before the end of term.
In order to avoid clashes, parents are asked to complete and return the attached slip, by ticking the appropriate box, as soon as possible. Once appointments have been allocated we shall return the reply slip at the bottom. With so many people to see, I must ask you to keep to the procedure outlined below:
1. On arrival, go to the Atrium where light refreshments will be available.
2. Five minutes or so before the time of your appointment go to the classroom and wait outside - chairs will be provided. If we keep to our schedule, there should never be more than one set of parents waiting.
3. Class teachers will inform you when they are ready.
4. We shall have to restrict interviews to a maximum of 10 minutes. Please do not go beyond this time if at all possible, for others will be waiting. Should you require a longer meeting it would have to be scheduled for a separate time.
5. Mrs. Stewart and Mr. Pound will also be in their classrooms on this evening until 8.00 p.m. to discuss progress in Latin / French and Science respectively. They will not be operating an appointment system and any parent who is unable to see them on this occasion, should make an appointment to see them at some other time.
6. I look forward to seeing you all, however, I am afraid with so many people here, I shall not be able to see individual parents for ‘private interviews’. If you have any pressing concerns which are not adequately resolved, please contact Mrs. Minett to arrange a separate meeting.
