Children are expected to attend.  The onus is on parents to transport their children to the main entrance of the College pool, Thirlestaine Road, arriving no earlier than 8.05 a.m. and no later than 8.10 a.m.   Those unfit must be taken directly to school with a note of explanation for Mrs. Miller-Howell.  A coach will transport the children back to school by approximately 9.05 a.m.  WHEN DROPPING OFF, CHILDREN SHOULD NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED BUT HANDED OVER TO A MEMBER OF STAFF

On each occasion there will be a fully qualified  but non-coaching life-saver in attendance provided by Cheltenham College.

To avoid traffic congestion, I strongly suggest that parents:

a)         Make every effort to approach the pool from the east (i.e. towards Bath Road from Old Bath Road), bearing in mind the entrance is opposite the College Lawn junction.

b)         Drive up to the pool and ‘drop off’ using the one way system;  members of staff will be at hand to usher children in the right direction.

c)         Arrange with one another to share transport.

N.B.  Swimming bags are available from the school office between 3.30 / 4.00 p.m. at a cost of £5.00
