N.B. Whenever playing football or hockey, your child must wear shin pads and all junior children must have a gum shield. Year 3 boys will only need gum shields before Christmas if involved in extra-curricular hockey. Mouth guards are available from your dentist or ‘fit your own’ type, from sports shops including The Stick Shop.
If your child is selected for a school team, please ensure that he/she has the correct kit. If necessary, check with the member of staff concerned.
Mrs. Powell has overall responsibility for girls sports/games and Mr. Edwards for the boys.
If your child has the incorrect kit, he/she could be prevented from participating in certain activities or even representing the school in a team.
If your child is unable to take part in games, a letter of explanation should be given in to either Mr. Edwards or Mrs. Powell.
