Charity Day
This year, the Richard Pate School is raising money for the Haiti relief fund, CLIC Sergent and the Alzheimer's Society. The day started with Mr. MacDonald roller-blading into assembly as Dick Whittington, and Mrs. Newcombe spoke to the school about the work of CLIC Sargent. The Nursery and Prep Departments, all dressed as fairytale characters, then enjoyed a disco in the hall. In the afternoon, the Juniors set up stalls in the hall to raise money for the three chosen charities.
