Below are recent chess competitors and winners in the UK Land Chess Challenge and the Cheltenham and District Primary Schools' Chess Association's Congress.

The two cup winners' awards were:

• Boys' Under 8 Cup Winner, Regional UK Land Chess Challenge
  Joint 2nd in the Under 11 Chess Congress, Cheltenham and District
  Best Year 3 Player, Cheltenham and District
  Played in winning team for Cheltenham vs. Gloucester in the Under 11's Chess Match

Rossettes were also awarded for pupils reaching the second round of the UK Chess Challenge
